Epstein: France Is a Crime Scene
No, the Epstein case is not primarily a matter for American justice. French courts possess universal jurisdiction in relation to those crimes.
Enough is enough!
France has signed and ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The United States signed it but Congress never ratified it.
The U.S. Congress did ratify though the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
This protocol grants universal jurisdiction to the courts of all state parties, ensuring no perpetrator of the crimes it covers can find safe haven anywhere.
The Epstein case fits squarely within this framework: underage girls—classified as women and children under the protocol—were trafficked across borders for organized sexual exploitation, including from France and/or involving a French national, the late “modelling agent” Jean-Luc Brunel.
Back on January 20, we explained why this provided a devastating political lever against Donald Trump’s push to annex Greenland.
Jean-Luc Brunel was French. He was arrested at Roissy airport en route to Senegal on charges of rape of minors, sexual harassment, and human trafficking—mere trifles!
These charges stemmed from the Epstein affair and carried a 20-year prison term. Trifles, we say again. Brunel is now dead, yet French justice should conveniently turn blind because Emmanuel Macron says so?
Jeffrey Epstein was Brunel’s business partner in the MC2 modeling agency (having injected over a million dollars into the company). Epstein maintained constant communication with Brunel, and the nature of those exchanges leaves little room for doubt about their actual content.
Under international law, French justice therefore has the obligation to investigate—and not merely within France, given its universal jurisdiction.
Unless, of course, it’s too busy chasing social media platforms and their executives over offenses that wouldn’t stand two minutes in court.
While the entire establishment and its cheerleaders—fact-checkers, mainstream journalists, and the rest—once again trot out “conspiracy theory” and Russian kompromat to shield long-known depravities of the “global elite” from scrutiny, we keep on digging.
Cannes Film Festival? Paris Fashion Week? Fiac and Art Basel? Mediterranean yachts every summer? Skiing in Gstaad or Courchevel? New Year’s in St. Barts? Spare us the chorus of naive virgins, will you.
We do not speculate or yell “pedophile” based on heavily redacted Justice Department documents designed to make coherent sense impossible, while pointing accusatory fingers at potential culprits. Journalists deal in facts, not mob justice. We refuse to descend into the French passion for lynching in pursuit of clicks or petty score-settling with the irrelevant Parisian media bubble.
Real journalistic inquiry is cold: it names no villains, it simply records reality.
The young women Epstein “gifted” to his friends were never anything but currency—access to the global elite while indulging his own perversions. Or vice versa; it amounts to the same bloody thing.
This was most certainly not some intelligence-agency “honey trap” for blackmail, even though some states—Israel foremost—may have tapped some valuable information.
In forthcoming articles, we will attempt to demonstrate that:
The origin of Jeffrey Epstein’s fortune is far from unknown.
This major white-collar criminal was merely a fixer—a brilliant conduit for moving funds and greasing corruption in political and economic spheres.
The Epstein affair exposes the mafia-like nature of international high finance.
His eugenicist and Jewish supremacist ideology—which has little to do with Judaism proper—was widely shared by those who propelled his rise over three decades. That fact is profoundly disturbing.
Of course, we will be branded conspiracy theorists. Time will vindicate us—but we aren’t chasing ultimate truth anyway. Our job as journalists is to describe reality as it is.
The Epstein affair nonetheless lays bare—in the harshest, most unforgiving light—the depraved conduct of a tiny coterie of the ultra-wealthy and/or ultra-powerful. Even the most rabid antisemites could never have conjured anything this grotesque in their wildest fantasies. And that is precisely what terrifies the self-styled “anti-conspiracy” crowd.
