What's the issue with Georgia SB 202 ?

Can the United States still patronize the world about democracy ?

I have read the federal state’s lawsuit filed against the Georgia Senate Bill 202.

I must confess I am puzzled.

I am aware of the long history of black voters suppression in the South, of gerrymandering etc. I am also aware of the long history of buying black votes in the North, of Tammany Hall etc.
